Matrix Mouse
Keeping with the augmented (although I guess this is more virtual) reality theme of the day, here is a mouse caught up in issues larger than he can comprehend, as they often are.
The idea here is that it is hard to study mice brains as they a run about a maze, so this affixes their head in a single location. The mouse is placed on what amounts to a giant track ball, and runs through a modified version of Quake 2. There is definitely room here for a PHD student to explore the effects of Team Fortress on rodents.
I, for one, can’t wait for the home version.
